Not an X or even a RR, but a RR look-alike SSP --
(Side stripes are now on it...after this pic was taken.

I have wondered that as well rav440. I bought mine on the claim there was only 117 of them. I always search ebay and other classifieds for them to see what they are going for. Seems to me there are alot of the 117 left. Is yours original black? I was promised a fender tag with mine, but have yet to see it. Was original Yellow. Also another question if you could help, are your door panels original to your car. Mine had some out of a satellite sebring plus and are in poor shape. I bought a set at MMW in st. louis this year like the ones in yours. Are those correct or did the X's have the sebring plus ones original?
Thanks

I know of another 73 or 74 GTX a guy has had sitting for years. I considered buying it but it needed a lot of work. If I remember correctly he has all the body panels for it that he bought years ago, including FACTORY replacement quarters. I still have all the pictures he sent me in an envelope. I had considered buying it but it was too much body work, plus he wanted like 10 or 12 G's, a bit much for a project car of this year. I still have the address and pictures if anyone's interested. I don't know if he still has it or not, as it was early in 06 when I was in contact with him.

73X , ive seen quite a few 73 GTXs on EBAY but i still stand with the 117 # . ive tried factoring #s as to how many should be left due to wrecks , rust , fires . floods ect . and drove myself crazy . just remember the gas crunch , so alot of the old BB cars got parked , so that could explaine why there are alot of the 73 74 GTXs left . also GG claims there were 749 GTXs made in 73 , well hes way beyond wrong because the 749 # is for the 73 400 4 spd cars .
my original paint is B5 blue and as far as i know the door panels are original .
why cant you get the fender tag ? did the guy lose it ? if you have the build sheet you can get a new one made .

Hey Randy,
I still have hope for the tag, I know the guy who has it, but he is not too reliable. Lives about 250 miles from me. The guy I bought the car from, got it from him and he was susposed to get it. I plan on dealing with the first guy in the next couple of weeks. No build sheet.
I was looking for a 71 - 72 RR and ended up getting this one as it is a real U code X. I mainly like the the 68 - 70 B Bodies, but am starting to get into the 71 - 74 Plymouths since getting this one. Frame is very solid, had to replace front floor pans, and need to fix the quarters. Have doors, and front clip done, hope to get it done by spring. Here are some pics right after I got it. I think I paid a little more than what it was worth ($1900), but hope they go up like the 71 - 72 B Bodies have. Car had an open 3:23 rear end 8 3/4 with sway bar, have since put a sure grip in.

ok , so that # of 388 covers all B body cars = 4 door / cop cars , station wagons and the 2 door cars right
