I thought you had the 3" exhaust on your car. I have a 3 " collector from my headers. I'm leaning towards the 2 1/2" as well from Accurate.

Rod, I meant that last post to go to your exhaust question thread BTW. When I get everything adjusted the way I want I’ll post up some pictures. Will have a 3’’ system surplus should there be any interest out there.

Follow up to the exhaust discussion, as mentioned, I recently replaced the 3” TTI exhaust system, Super Turbo mufflers, custom Magnaflow resonators mounted in the tail pipes, with a factory style system from Accurate Exhaust, 2 ½” h-pipe, reproduction “hemi” style mufflers with resonators and tips. The TTI system is well made, no complaints about fit and quality, just too loud under cruising conditions for my current taste. Funny thing, I went through all this several times with my Mopars back in the day, running every aftermarket exhaust around only to pull it all off and go back to factory in the end.
The Accurate system went on very easily and looks great, a few tweaks around the resonator hangers to get a better fit into the rear valance opening. The insert color was off, too dark a red, on the the reproduction SS tips, needed a repaint. Love the new sound, can now carry on a conversation while driving without having to shout.

There are three levels of Hemi mufflers from Accurate, which did you go with? I put the middle ones on my RR and really like it. I'm like you, I loved the factory sound back then, quite except when the pedal was to the floor.

"ACM-6056 Hemi style high performance(2.50"I.D. inlet and 2.25" I.D. outlet-Replaces ACM-55 for a more aggressive exhaust tone)", Was not made aware of different levels of Hemi mufflers currently available. The only '72 non-factory option requested was the H-pipe, not original in '72 on the 440, but they make them for the '71-72 B-bodies..
Should note too, I had them make up some 2 1/2" head pipes for the 400 in my other car last year, again not original-would have been 2 1/4" pipes originlly, running the ACM-6056s on it too, no resonators. also, it's clear that they are repackaging the mufflers, resonators, & repo tips, sourced from other vendors.

I looked at their website and didn't see it either. Maybe since I bought mine they quit the three levels.

Slight thread resurrection here but I can't help but add my "What a gorgeous car!" to the pile of accolades already posted.

Looking at your pictures makes me feel at home... of course our scenery is pretty much identical so no surprise there. Almost thought that I saw the Anacortes Ferry in a few of your pics...

Thank you on the compliments. I believe member junkman is from Anacortes, the pictures he posted of his EV2 RR/GTX appear to have been taken around there.
