Washer bottles
I didn't know these were being repro'd. Is this correct for 73/74? Seen many nice engine compartments with old yellowed washer bottles for lack of a replacement.

That looks like an excellent candidate for the E-bay of the Day forum (hint, hint). Anyway, $100? (Eek!) Mine is missing entirely, and my car is a 20/20 car, so what the hell, it's payday. I didn't know they were reproducing them either. Looks correct from the numerous pictures I've seen online of '73-'74 B-bodies. Hell yeah, finally the '73-'74 guys get some love in the parts world.
Very cool find, thanks!
And all this time I just thought the containers were yellow to begin with! LOL

Hey, check this one out. Does anyone here have a car with cruise control? I didn't even know sucha thing existed for these cars. Anyway, about a year ago I bought one of these in excellent (used) condition for $15 and just assumed the e-bay girl sold me the wrong part. I guess it was correct after all, just for cars with cruise. Awesome, I'm gonna sell mine (or convert my car to cruise control, LOL).

In an interesting coincidence, I went a car show last night and there was a nice 73 Charger, 400. His engine bay was nicely detailed except for one thing. Can you guess what it was? I told him those reservoirs are now being repro'd, and he bristled at the suggestion that he needed one, saying they were yellow from the factory. Somehow I don't think so.

I remember when the yellow repop bottles came out and when I questioned the vendor as to why they had a white one and a yellow one, they said it was for the aged look. Why the hell would anyone want that? Should I duplicate the rust on my Superbird too because that's how they came from the factory? Oh wait, people do that. Haha... Anyway, another vendor said it was personal preference whether you get white or yellow (what the hell does that mean?) Anyway, so I'm very much on the fence about what is correct. Were they really that white when they were new? I would assume so; however, the link of the bottle I posted above is a NOS unit that has never been on a car (which is the majority of the heat). Of course, I have old Poloroids that naturally turn yellow, so maybe the bottle had been exposed to a hot warehouse and in the sun, off and on. I really don't know!

The repop '73-'74 ones look like every washer bottle I've seen on '73-'74 Satellites and Road Runners on E-bay (a great place to look for underhood pics, btw, to the person that wanted this).
Of course, they're not correct for cars with cruise control. (Who the hell has that option again? haha)
