Thats a sweet bird, I cant wait to see what it goes for. I picked up a nos bird that was unpainted for $30 (I should have bought all 4 and painted them and made some cash). Thats the price you pay when you get it bad.

Amazing....I don't get it. I've seen painted NOS ones go for under $60 and all the way up to close to $200.
I have one NOS painted one I picked up years ago and 5 of the unpainted ones just in case ....

AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

BOGART
I watch alot of mopar stuff on ebay, it's kind of like stocks, theres a time to buy and a better time to sell. I buy NOS lots that have mainly muscle car parts, only if they have atleast one nice part I can use on my 72. Then I either sell the leftovers fast or wait untill I dont see those parts for sale then I sell. I have gotten very lucky both buying and selling. I always atleast double my money, most times alot more. This is the only way I can feed my demons, and they keep getting hungrier. WE all know it's a sickness that gets worse in time. (But there is one thing that can help). I have so much into this 72 clone I might buy a very rough 71GTX I know of, just because of all these parts I buy would like to have a really nice home. Even though mopar clones, especially 71 to 74 b bodies! Have you seen what these clones are going for? I am amazed when I see the amount of people bidding big money on these b body knock offs.
Us mopar guys are a different breed and will spend any extra spendable cash on some part cuz you never know when another one that sweet will show up again, then all of a sudden they are all over the place, cheaper.

Thats why my car still does not have one!
Is it true the repops have a too short screw?
I've been thinking what else I can put on the grill in it's place that will not look tacky?
Like the redone center medalion for the top door panels we saw here a week or two ago. They looked great.

The repro is metal instead of plastic, and it is very poorly painted. The stud is too short, but it does unscrew (on the repro). You can cut the head off a long bolt and use it though.

So this bird head went for 199.99. Hot too bad. I thought it would have gone for more.
