Road Runner Nest

Got to go to the local Mopar club's annual car show last weekend here in Fla. Guess you cold climate people don't do a lot of car shows this time of year, hee hee! Anyway, it was really good to see all the Mopars out being fawned over. One of the rides was a 69 Road Runner convertible restored and cloned to a Hemi car by a local dealership. It's being raffled off for the Altzheimer's foundation, a worthy cause indeed. Tickets were pretty cheap so I bought a dozen. There were lots of 71 and 72 Road Runners, but none of my body style. Many really nice Cudas and Challengers (a green R/T really completing the picture). Also, several Furys and a couple nice Dusters, Darts, and Scamps. Lot's of newer wheels too, like Prowlers and mean trucks. Wish I had taken pix, but forgot the camera in my haste to get there.

Can't wait to have mine there next year!

Must be nice eh, a Mopar show at this time of year. Here in Vancouver the only Mopar show will be in July when it is nice and hot. Other local car shows and cruises will begin in Spring when the weather gets better.
