old harv here... (though some of you will know me as Brock Samson on www.dodgecharger.com)

Anyway..
i got my plans formulated for my '71 R.R. repaint i wanna go with a candy tangerine as seen in this photoshoped pic...
and with the painted bumpers, but i have a question...
is there some sort of body colored piece that goes between the car and the bumpers on the body painted bumper examples?..
i'm also gonna have the graphics painted on in airbrush and then covered in clear...
no spoilers, scoops, hood pins or other stuff i see on all the other rrs and GTXs i've seen.
I wanna use Momo Buckets and matching black and gray steering wheel
and a couple guages incl. a tach... i'm taking out the rear seats carpeting that area and removing (but not selling) all the six seat belts, (that's fourteen shoulder and lap belts total!)
but nothing other then the paint that can't be put back or taken off..
oh and front discs with black dog dishes..

the elastomeric bumper cars did have an additional piece, but it wasn't located betweent he bumper and the body. Instead it bolted over the top of the bumper and formed sort of an eyebrow that protruded forward. IF you can find a used one, expect to pay big $$, they're very rare. Gene Greggory is reproducing them, but I believe his price is $1500.
