Road Runner, GTX, Satellite art

Post by bruce » Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:27 pm

Okay guys, you've seen a glimpse of these cartoon Road Runners and Satellites here on the Nest, and once the new Nest debuts you'll be seeing more. So if anyone is interested in purchasing the art in their car, color, equipment combination, now's your chance.

$40 will get you a cartoon of your car in your combination, and in a file format you can use--native Illustrator file, .gif, .jpeg, etc. See the sample Runner below. Just PM me with your request(s). Deviations from stock configurations (custom wheels, for example) will result in extra charges. Thanks!

Hey Bruce, I've seen the air grabber hood and the satellite hood but how good are you at the roadrunner hood, and could you put the 383-440-340
on the inserts? 8)

I've done the standard Road Runner hood with the engine callouts. Y'all just haven't seen them here. I'll try to post a sample with the standard hood this weekend.

Oh, so far for wheels I have steel wheels and hubcaps, ralley wheels and road wheels.

I have to give Bruce a big Kudo, he did my logo a while back and I love it.
It is in GY9, TwanyGold or as close as we could match it. He has a talent....... He did the car and I added the rest......

Are you able to modify an existing (non-cartoon) picture as well, such as change paint color, or add (or change) exterior additions such as moldings, louvers, wings or stripes?

OR, what about seeing what a 71-74 would look like as a convertible?

Sorry, never got that far in that thread. Very cool. How about the other mods I mentioned?

Well, since I spend my professional life working in PhotoShop (I'm an Art Director), YES, I can do the mods you mentioned. Color changes can be tough though, not every existing color in an image covers very well, or translates well into the new color you want to see.

Couple more variations, a Tor Red GTX with standard hood and road wheels, and the Kay Stevens SSP with sunroof.
