At last, ERTL has released a new version of the 1971 Plymouth Road Runner 1:18 scale model in Tor-Red w/ a black strobe stripe!

Now they've released a "Chase Edition" which is orange with the orange/black seats. Damn! Gotta buy another one!

Got to find one of these ... if they just could make an aftermarket 72 bumpers and a 72 grille for me ... that would be AWESOME!

Pictures and descriptions can be found at www.ediecast.com. Go through their search to find it. The link is too long to type out here.

It can also be found on e-Bay quite easily.

You know, for all the good work they did in detailing the model- it is shame they just plain blew it with the strobe stripes. They aren't the right size, number or placement on the car.

Right, I got mine from SUPERCAR1.com a few weeks ago. The antenna is absolutely ridiculous on them as well!! Still good to see them producing our cars though.
