Well it's been a while since I posted any updates.
A Lot of time has gone into it but it is finally in paint and partially assembled, :D
It's been a lot of fun and can't wait to get it on the road!
Hopefully in a couple of months all the remainder of the parts will be in and all put together.

Thanks for the encouragement :)
No real update as I have run into a couple snags.
The engine is not back from the machine shop, and a few parts that have come in have been a problem.
Against my better judgement I bought a set of window fuzzys off E-bay. They are complete junk, wrong year rear fuzzys, poor quality fronts.
They want me to send back the rears and they will replace them with the right year parts but said they are black only with no chrome.
If I send them back they will throw five dollars for shipping in with my next order!!!???!!??
My dash pad is becoming a problem also. I can't get a definite answer on the quality from any of the vender's.
I have a nice used pad but it has one bad area on top. I may have to use it until I can see a repop at a show.
Anyway headliner is in as is the dash.
Rear axle should be installed this week.
Dave

although i haven"t seen him here in awhile, Nick, ( Nicks classic Parts) was working with a place a few years back for the dashpads. A few of us got in on the buy and I had mine sitting around and just put it in. It looks pretty good . The only issue I have is there was some extra padding wrapped around the back so it doesn"t fit quite right. It stands off 1/16- 1/8" in some places. I would suggest sending them a core and getting it back. The core they used for mine had a few studs missing.
