I got tires today! 5 of them, I have a matching spare in the trunk with matching tire. They are 235 60 14 on mopar road wheels. I really like the look. Right now I am cleaning the rest of the wheels before I put them back on the car.

Those wheels look much better! Not that the mags were horrendous, but these really suit the car. If I ever find a set of those, I'm putting them on my car.

Thanks Bill, I had a real hard time trying to figure out if I wanted to put these on the car. But after I put the wider tires with white letter on, I was in love.

PS- If anyone want my old wheels I will post them in the mall section.

Thanks linemup!!

I found a car that my old wheels look good on, a 2000 Chevy Camaro. I sold the wheels to my shop and put them on this Camaro that will be going in the auto auction next week.

This weekend I finished repainting all the road wheels and installing them. Also I removed the traction bars, and cleaned/painted part of the jack. Then on Sunday I hover converted my car!! Actually I cleaned and repainted the whole under body. There is nothing quite like 36 years of road grime falling on my face for 4 hours. In the end the underbody was painted in a satin black finish and when its on the ground it looks very nice. It not a car you would put mirror under at a show, but it looks awesome for a driver.

PS- Thats my friend Bobby 1956 Fo-Par in the back ground. Its a 56 Ford truck with a 1979 Fifth Avenue K member, front suspension, brakes, etc. Along with a Cordoba steering column and wheel.

Also on my way home my brake light switch died. But lucky a local auto parts store had one so $5 dollars later it was fixed.

I see you got those traction bars off! And nice front discs, btw.

I should've taken pics of my gold Satty on the lift with the wheels off. The car looks so jet-like without wheels!
