The pictures are from the same shooting session.
The motor shot is exactly the same.
The gravel drive and back ground is the same.
A red trailer is in both sets of pics.

I smell scam.

Yeah from time to time cars listed on TTB site show up on E-Bay. I think sometimes TTB sells vehicles for individuals or else this is just a scam since the location listed on the e-bay add is Argos, IN..... hard to say since the e-bay add shows a picture of the inside of the trunk which they don't show on the TTB site.

I sent a message to the eBay seller. He said Texas Toy Box was trying to sell his car for him. He is selling on his own now.

You know when I was talking to him about this car he never indicated he was consigning the car. According to him it was picked up with a group of other cars and they had cleaned it up, put the airgrabber hood on it as well.

So yes I think it was a scam. I'm just laughing because he tried to pull the old " someone else is waiting to buy it trick " to get me to commit. Thing is I had already commited to buying the car, was just waiting for my money to settle in the account, so he actually killed the deal by rushing me LOL

Serious back-fire in TTB efforts!

That scam only works If your never see the car though.

If you said you were coming to see It or asked for more pics he probably would have said the other buyer IS buying It,so it would no longer be available.

HOLY SHIT !!

Pardon my salty mouth there but this thing just sold for $7000, less than half of what I almost paid TTB for the damn thing!! I would love to be able to find the buyer and get his take on the cars condition etc

On Oct-07-09 at 15:52:20 PDT, seller added the following information:

ATTENTION BIDDERS RESERVE FOR THIS CAR WAS SET AT $8,800.00. WELL WORTH THAT PRICE. JUST LOWERED IT TO $7,000.00 !!!!! NEED THE CASH. GOOD LUCK !
