Doesn’t seem right. It should have the C16, as every other Windsor console car I’ve seen… unless the console was added.

That seems unlikely since (I think) non-console bucket seat 4 speed cars used the same hump as bench seat cars with the forward mounted shifter and a unique shift handle.

This is where that broadcast sheet would have come in handy.

I don't see a pattern on Winsor tags that would indicate the console code was not shown on console cars at certain times (early or late in the model year). That leads me to believe all console cars should have the C16. But to be fair, I've not looked into this issue before it just recently came up.

My car didn't come w/ a console and it came w/ bucket seats. The hump in my car is the same as a bucket car w/ the console and not like the bench seat.

Correct.
There were three different trans humps.
Column shift
Bench 4-speed
Bucket 4-speed w/ w/o console

I stand corrected.

So it would appear that the console was added to this car (as is has been on my GTX albeit an auto instead of a 4spd).

The bench seat 4 speed hump is the same one they use with buckets with a buddy seat.

Okay. Try this one...

Don't have a legible picture of the fender tag, but this 72 four speed car was coded for C56 bucket seats (but no C16). That looks like a bench seat type shifter to me.

After a closer comparison, it looks like the location is actually the same as a console car. I guess it's just an incorrect bench shifter handle that's throwing me a curve.

If you dont find a build sheet in the car just keep your eyes open. Sometimes some of them showup on ebay and there are a few sites out there like moparts that have threads on lost and found build sheets.

I for one remember finding mine back when I was 16 under the seat of my car but I took it out and I thought I gave it to my parents to save it but so far we have been unable to find it. =( I try to keep my eyes open on other sites just incase there is another one for my car out there. I still haven't checked the back of my seats or under my carpet and such since until about a yr ago I thought they were only under the backseats and didnt know some cars even had more then one hidden somewhere in the car.

I found one under the rear carpet behind the drivers seat and the resto shop found another one when they were disassembling the car.

I have checked under the rear seat and no luck....I know the carpet has been replaced so chances are it is not under there.

You should contact the restorer and see if they have it.
