i think we should have a section, or thread at least, for you guys that have turned out some great paint jobs to give out some pointers on the actual applying, clearing, buffing, polishing, etc.

yep, i know, but i want a lot of opinions, etc. about doing it - in depth just cuz i think i'm going to do my paint myself the next time around - don't listen to your friend that says "hey man i can paint your car"

nah...not always in the body work lol....my body work looked really pretty good (not great, but good for a driver)- but when you got a guy sprayin paint on too thick, puttin on 6 THICK coats in some places (can you say cracks???)it's not gonna be pretty - even then it wasn't too bad, though - the clear is where he killed it with runs everywhere...

how much fun were the CHIN spoilers to put on i had a hell of a time with mine i new there would be a differance between 71 to 73 fenders & splash pan but not enough to turn my hair gray :D

Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the car. To answer one of the questions the chin spoilers weren't too bad to put on, just needed a little snug here and there to get them to conform to the different fenders...
Dave is an amazingly nice guy, it was great to meet him, and boy did he have some questions! I don;t have as many pictures as he probably does, but I shall post some tomorrow morning when I get off work... thanks to any and everyone involved.
