out of curiosity............is your air grabber functional? I am redoing a 72 SSPor RR clone myself. I have my air grabber bubble and air door. I have drilled the mounting holes in the hood. However, I want to rig my air door where it stays open all of the time. Since I am not installing any of the underhood stuff, I am trying to find someone else that has done this to see what method they used. By the way, the car looks great...........it would look killer with some old school Cragar SS's on it..........maybe some 275's on the rear.

Thanks, I am changing the wheels. I have a set of Mopar road wheels that will be going on the car. As for the air grabber, my car does not have one. I painted the center of the hood matte black to get it that AG look.linemup wrote:out of curiosity............is your air grabber functional? I am redoing a 72 SSPor RR clone myself. Car looks killer, as usual!
I'm going to paint my hood center flat black, too... I think that along with the strobe in the back is a nice balance to offset the main body color (which in my case will be Y8 Gold Leaf).
Thanks again for the valance decals! I can't wait until after the painting so I can put 'em on. Can you get non-cutout valance decals? I've seen pictures of non-cutout cars with blackout decals floating around...

Yes, my butterscotch car has them....got them from Performance Car Graphics, just make sure you tell them you have the non cut out valence when orderingbillzilla wrote:Can you get non-cutout valance decals? I've seen pictures of non-cutout cars with blackout decals floating around...
