Ah, fun times! Looks fantastic!
Did you have any issues installing the engine up from below? On mine the steering box chipped the paint on the shock tower just a LITTLE on the underside. Can't see it now, but I know it's there...

Re: Finally Paint! (Updated 11/30/10)
Not sure Bruce. I'm not doing any of the reassembly work. I've taken the approach that it's better for me to work doing what I know how to do and pay the professionals to do what they know how to do. They do this all the time, so I would hope that they didn't chip the paint.

Man is that going to be an incredible looking car when you finish it I can't wait to see pictures of it finished and I love the colour.
Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.

Good pic of the bottom of the car. Resto Rick's dip gray color with overspray.

Haven't put the correct vacuum advance on yet. Also, if anyone sees anything that is incorrect or is missing, please let me know since it's easier to fix now.

Are you trying for a car that is correct down to the last nut and bolt? Or are you trying for a super nice looking show car?

Re: Finally Paint! (Updated 12/2/10)
Not going to be correct down to the last nut and bolt since there are always little things that can be improved upon or overlooked, but it's going to be as close to factory correct as possible. The first shop we were using really doesn't spend the time to research the way things are supposed to be, however, the shop we're using now really likes the small details that can set a car apart from a "year one" resto. It will get mostly shown this coming summer, but I can't wait to drive it after that. I'm probably not going to beat on it, but I'm also not afraid to drive it.ILUV72RRs wrote:Are you trying for a car that is correct down to the last nut and bolt?
