Simply tell him your cars better. :beer: :lol:

Just Kidding,but not really.

I'm not too far sure i got this but ill wing it.

Litres is a term for cubic decimeters,its just another description of an engines piston volume depending where you live.

1000cc's(cubic centimeters)=1 litre
0.016387064 litres=1 c.i. (cubic inch)
2.54 centimeters=1 c.i. (cubic inch)

thanks to google for the math stuff.ha ha

look this was on wikipedia

The 383 (6.3 L) short-stroke B engine used a 4.25 in (108 mm) bore and was introduced in 1959 for the 1960 model year. Over 3,000,000 B 383 engines were produced between 1959 and 1971. Dodge's version (the D500) had a cross-ram induction manifold and dual 4-barrel carburetor as options. In some Dodge applications, this engine was labelled as the Magnum, while the Plymouth's version was called the Golden Commando. The "Golden Commando" came with a special dual-point distributor for a hotter spark, a drag-racing derivation. Note that there was also an RB 383 (the Golden Lion), though it is quite rare.

ok so now my result ended the same as wikipedia 6.3 litres because at 0.016387064 litres is 1 cubic inch..so when i multiply that to 383 ci, it gives me 6.276245512. which is rounded off to 6.3, so now i knwo what i answer people, because i know what all this means its just they dont. soo now im all good guys thank you SMELLS LIKE 1974. so we consume more gas than a srt-8 6.1 hemi? and how much litres does the 426 have?

That sounds about right but im not sure.Not a math person

"383 = 6.261"

It all seems confusing but with time,questions,and some very good sources like the rr nest,you will learn a lot about this stuff.

Have you created a car domain yet?

The first 383 was introduced in 1959 model year, but as the raised block. The dimensions on this engine were a bore of 4.030 and a stroke of 3.750 inches. This engine was available with two four-barrel induction

gas tank is 20 gallons...not sure on the liters in a gallon :wink: you most likely will use more gas than a newer dodge hemi, as they have a mulitiple displacement system that shuts down cylinders while cruising, not to mention fuel injection and overdrive transmission
