It's a rainy day here, so no progress on the garage today. However, PROJECT BLUE BIRD IS INSIDE! :D :D :D We made some good progress yesterday, and got the siding and trim done on the front, and good progress down one side. Of course, the front is the toughest to complete, with all the cuts that have to be made. Most importantly, the garage is now completely dried in and secured!

I did get a lion's share of the stuff out of the PODS unit yesterday, with really just a couple heavy things left to move. Granted, the stuff is just piled in the garage right now, but the goal is to have the PODS unit empty so that it can be picked up on Tuesday.

Looks great Dave!! I'm waiting for my step-dad to get a few minutes so he can come over and dig the foundation hole for the addition to my garage... Then I can get my garage in order and start working on my car, hopefully before the snow. You must be psyched!

Oh, and the new site format is pretty cool

Another milestone tonight. We brought the Sebring Plus home tonight. I added a few pic's of the 71s together for the first time in their new home to the flickr album. Even a couple of Samantha with the cars.

Still a bit more siding to put up, and I need to get the trench dug so that I can tie in the downspouts to the main storm drain. I have my electrical permit in hand now, so I can get that knocked out here shortly. Of course, I still need to make some final shelving decisions so I can get stuff a lot better organized.

It's so nice to have both cars back home, safe in sound in the new garage!

Just remember, no windows = more wall space to store stuff. :)

Bruce, I know you live out in the middle of nowhere. Up here in civilized country we have this really neat thing called electricity. We can use it to make light - so we don't have to have windows in our garages. :)

I think I was the first one to suggest you wanted more wall space to hang crap... look back a few posts. And for your info Mr. SmartyBritchesCityBoy, my garage has both 'lectricity AND windows... I don't live THAT far in the boonies. Heck I even have citified water to drink...

Dave, Are you putting in a loft?

I put 2 of these in my house and the difference was like night and day.
