Year 9 - Finally back on its wheels, but a long way to go.

My goal for early this year was to get my car on its wheels so I could get it down to the local winter show. They have a "In progress" category - so I said what the hey. With only a few days to go - I am back to roller status.


Front suspension going back on.


Steering components in place.


Rear axle under the car.


The wheels are back on the car!

You and me both! Unfortunately the Satellite has to go into storage for a bit - as we are selling our current home and building a new one - with a BIGGER garage!

Unfortunately not, there were several other cars that were further along than mine with very nice paint. Maybe I can re-enter in a couple of years with nice paint myself. Scott.

Been over a year.. Any update on the house, garage ... Car?

Getting the current house sold in 3 weeks and hopefully breaking ground on the new house by late June. No updates on the car as it is in storage right now. Thanks for the interest! I can't wait to get back to it.

The house is finally underway. Can't wait to get the Satellite in the garage and get back to work on it!


Poor Satty was in cold storage while the house was being built. Even though we get some snow, its a pretty dry climate.

Quick update - house is coming along and expect to move in by March.


Finally got the car out of cold storage, and out to the new homestead.


While the contractors were finishing up, I was able to finally get it into the garage.


Things Satty-wise went down hill during and after move in. I think its still there?


Yep, found it again! Not much happening in 2017 as I have a lot of new house projects that need completing. Hoping to free up some time in 2018.

Finally took the time to get this thread out of the depths of the photobucket debacle. I have moved my pics over to imugr and am happy with how easy it is to link from there. Added a few more pics above from the move into the new homestead. Hoping to find time this summer to get back to it. Enjoy!
