I drove up to the Spring Carlisle Swap meet this past weekend, hoping to find a part ot two that I might need....didn't see dick for 71-74 B-bodies, let alone SSp's/RR's. Pretty sad...guess I'll drive back up for the Mopar show.

Hotels/motels vary on where you stay. If you stay IN Carlisle be prepared to pay $150 a night and perhaps even more. Last year our room was around $165. This year we're staying in Mechanicsburg for $90 a night...

Now I don't know what to do about Carlisle. I submitted a request for the '71 to be considered for the invitational display back in Dec. Well, they contacted me late last week and want me to bring the car for display in building T. With the slow response from them, I just assumed that they did not choose my car, so I told my good friend that I would take his 69.5 RR to the show. There is a small chance that I can get a hold of a 2 car enclosed trailer to bring both cars. If not, I will not go back on my word and just bring the 69.5 RR.

I now have a tentative deal with a friend. He'll haul my ass there if I pay for lodging.

I'd love to go but unfortunatley, I wont be getting home til mid week after Carlisle. Anyone going to the Nats? I posted there a meet n greet.
