Re: Newbie from Canada
If the car had been built to U.S. specs the stamped code would of been a U, instead of the C. If it had been scheduled to be made as an export car. It would of been stamped with an I. The 22 is the size of the radiator, 22 inches. A 26 would of meant a 26 inch radiator.

Re: Newbie from Canada
Eric, thanks for posting the picture of the back seat - I was curious to know what the factory seats looked like. The current back seat in my Satellite looks nothing like the one you posted, but it looks like I'll be getting seat covers for a 71 Runner.
To everyone else, many thanks for posting all the info.
When I had my 76 Runner, there was no fender tag, so I always wondered what options the car had. Now that I have a car with a fender tag, it's nice to know what the car came with originally.

Hi John
welcome to the nest. I think you will like it here
Funny thing about your car -it is THE car that got me hooked on '71 B-body cars! It was on eBay in the summer of 2005 and I was drooling all over the shop! Man that red satellite sitting on polished American Racing wheels with fat tires and a killer stance got me daydreaming! I will never forget this car
Is it just me or do you other Nest addicts find the stance soo right too?
Anyway, very cool looking car John!

Capsule - thanks for the kind words. yes I've had a thing for 71 BoBodies for quite some time now.
Now that I have one, it will be my keeper car.
Now is the time to find the proper pieces to create the Road Runner I've always wanted.
