For a closer alignment, you can use a tape measure to check how low the stripe is on the wheel openings for the sides. For the top, you can measure to the back window to the stripe. Masking tape is a big help to make sure your angles are right.

I did the top first, how well you center it will give the results of the sides.

The paper over the stripe should stay on, that will protect the edges while you squeegee and keep all the individual squares together. Just be sure to use lots of that soapy water!
X2....do the top/center stripe first. Measure to the center of your roof, mark with a small piece of tape. Also mark your stripe center (on the carrier paper). Tape one side of the stripe carrier paper down with masking tape. Then tape the side stripes to the center stripe (again, tape the carrier paper) in the correct spacing. This will allow you to align the stripe correctly over the wheel wells. When you have it placed correctly, tape down the one side of the center stripe in the final location and remove the side stripes. Now you have it in the correct location ready to install.
I use glass cleaner in a spray bottle instead of soapy water. Either way works.

Do you already have an air grabber for it, or are you looking? If you're looking, I have an almost complete setup from Stinger Fiberglass I'm not going to use. Bubble, scoop, hinge, door actuator, underhood air box, stainless studs rubber seal, and the correct factory air cleaner for a 440. I have about $1100 in it all, and I'll take $750 for it. Also have a flat hood to cut to put it on if you want to pick it up.

I'm in South Point, OH, right where WV/OH/KY come together, and about 3 miles off I-64 in WV, there's 3 blocks of city streets to drive once you're off the 4 lane

I guess that thing's pretty much all race with a 5000 stall. Extreme!
I have a 3500+ in mine, and I try to drive it at least once a week on the street to local shows.
Sweet though!
