AMD 71-2 Rear quarter update

You've got to keep the faith, man! AMD has delivered on a ton of Mopar sheet metal that was never available before. Plus, the panels were test fitted by a member on this board. You don't have to tell me about being roped along...I preordered these panels from Laysons on 04/07/2003. I have copies of numerous emails from Dave promising that these panles were going to be made. Finally announced last fall that they weren't going to happen. I last spoke with them on 04/29/2009 and they are supposedly sending me a refund check. So, the check is in the mail...wait, oh crap, they did it to me again .

I just have a hard time they will actually produce these in a weak economy. I'm sure AMD is sitting on a ton of other inventory and I can't see them adding to it by producing a part that has a limited market during a recession. I'm not saying they aren't working on tooling and fitment, but producing is a different story. I hope they truly will be available soon, not that I care since I don't need them anymore, but I won't believe it until a paying customer has taken delivery.

Yup, that post is over a year old. You can get them from any AMD vendor now.

Yup, got mine last year. They look great. I posted a pic of them on another thread somewhere on here.
