Thanks for posting the pictures, it will save me from trying to locate them when I get home. I called my wife and POLITELY asked here to go thru some of the fender tag data. My bad, I was off 8 days. The build date on the car was May 24, 1971.

roelbest, I sent you a PM. Thanks!

Jeff

Interesting photos. If the car was original at that point, it certainly breaks a lot of the rules.

I'd still be interested to see pics of or information from the fender tag and broadcast sheet

Roelbest, were you the previous owner?

Nic, no I never owned the car. A friend of mine did the deal and he came up to me to show me the car before it was shipped over. The car was kept very quiet for many years, stored in a barn.

i realize that it's only a couple things, but appearantly the guy who wouldn't change anything on his car put on the plymouth bill boards and a big standing bird wrapping the trunk lid....jmo, but i'd say anything is possible as far as changing or customizing other items on the car

5/14/71
Dealers were advised that during the last 30 days of 1971 production, colored-keyed seat belts were phased out and replaced with black belts.
