mk, just looked at that article...they didn't even run the cars against eachother, they based their findings on results from different days, tracks, etc. the 0-60 times for the shelby i've seen, until now, has shown a gt500 0-60 time around 4.9 seconds, and the mustang gt around 5.1...either way, it is a smaller, lighter, supercharged car with 75 more HP and less weight...that's about like comparing a hennesy viper to a viper or a lingenfelter vette to a Z06 imo...

another thing messed up about dodge is their obsession with 20" wheels...on mustangs, it's shown anywhere from 10-20 RWHP drop when going from a 17" rim to a 20" rim

oh, well...the challenger looks better

I like the challenger to.I also read somewhere this guy was saving up some money to buy a challenger,he was thinking 37k-40k,when he went to the dealer to order they told him they were only getting so many per dealer so the price was going to be 62k for the last one, they only had one left.the dealer ollotment was 5, I hate when dealer scalp the customers!

landon1 wrote:yeah, the vids on dodge.com are out in the open, on country roads, etc. no vids, but i've seen pics of a guy on the mustang forum site trying to keep up with an 08 srt, along with pics on the side of the road of the 2 cars together...i am a CAR enthusiast, and i can't wait til the camaro gets out so they can line up all 3 and get some great pics. i've been reading on the camaro, and that thing will be a beast, but the rear end is FUGLY
When I was stationed at Ft. Rucker, I woke up with a woman whose face as well as her rear end was FUGLY. Sobered me up just like that. ..
:haha: me too
