Boys & Toys

Post by 72Rdrnner » Thu Dec 06, 2007 9:38 am

One good shop, although yours looks a lot better than mine, deserves another.

Mine started out 30x35 so the motor home I had would fit. Got a bigger motor home to had to "stretch" the bay with a 12x16 addition and put a taller door in it.

Here's a link to the Shutterfly album. The first ones were before I enlarged it and were also before the Roadrunner was finished.

Goes to prove, "the difference between men and boys, is the cost of their toys!"

It, thanks to the motor home, can also double as a really nice "dog house"! Especailly when I come in the house smelling like and tracking Gunk!

So when will the drywall be up and when can my '71 be moved in Eric?

Seriously.... nice garage
Hmm...maybe I should rent out space when it's finished....I'll probably need the $$ by the then!
Its not a bad idea.... I wish I had known the guy thats storing my car now a for quite sometime instead having to leaving my car outside as long it had to be... I doubt he would have wanted to store it for yrs but any time inside would have helped. I just talked to him tonight and informed him that another check is on the way and my appreciation for him to keep my car inside and cozy instead of outside and rusting.

If I had know him back then and he would have offered me a long term storage agreement at even twice the monthly rate I'm paying now in hind sight it would have easily been worth it over the time and $$ that outside storage will cost me in labor and parts.

Since he is looking for a new project car (unfortunately chevy) I told him if he finds anything in the tx area that hes interested in I will gladly go do my best to check out the car and take a slew of pics of it for him since he prefers project cars that are rust free.
