Yes it does.
I am sorta pissed right now about this all. Feels like my car is a bucket of bolts held together by gum and duct tape.
I gotta find some correct parts.
NEWS FLASH..........I GOT ME A REAR BUMPER!!!

I wasn't trying to make anyone mad. How long have you owned the car?? Did you buy it from a dealer??? Have you checked the other VIN stampings to see if they match?? I think there has been a few law-suits involving these issues before. In fact I was under the impression that taking a dash from one car and putting it in another would be a major law violation. And I think some states the car would be confiscated by the police if the VIN was not the one the car was originally built with.71 clonerunner wrote:Yes it does.

a clone is a clone and a fake is a fake
well....most law breaking cases of vin swapping involves newer stolen vehicles.....classic cars are a "grey" area somewhat accepted
you can rebuild a car with other parts...ya know take 2 cars and make one(with or without a rebuilt title) an it is pretty much legal or looked over....but
.....but...but....this in an inch and there are others out there taking a mile....by taking a $1000 71' slant six satellite and making a $100,000 440 six pak roadrunner out of it.
we are not chevy of ford guys here who have been swpping vins since day one!!!!!......our cars were not made by the millions!!!! so it is harder for us mopar guys to swollow that bad taste in our mouth that cloned cars leave....not very accepted in our circle.
I have several 71-72 cars......and for example I have a very rusty 71 383 hemi trac pak airgrabber rr parked beside a beautiful southern belle....she is a rust free 71 satellite...sweet little 318.....and just waiting to get raped by a ruff and rusty raced worn roadrunner...he he
but.... but.....I will be gone some day (although mopars do make you verile!!)....and the car would be a lie to someone? or would it?
I say if you got a mixed car....love it and drive the helloutta it anyway!!!!!
but don't try to take nobody for a ride! for profit!

Nah,
Not pissed with you, but I would have figured with the exception of the body, I'd be abkle to recognize the rest of thee car myself.
The only VIN I looked at was the one I did the lien search on when I bought the car. I am just hoping it will pass provincial inspection next year when I get all the stuff on it that needs to get done.
