I tried to attach more pics but I reached my maximum Upload Quota Limit of 256 KB, do I have to erase my previous shot in order to attach more???

This is not the HP police engine this car a originally came with, or is it?, been having lots of confusion in deciphering this engine and her we go.
1. My engine casting number is 25364308, sources tell me that this engine was built between 1966-1972.

2. My intake manifold casting number is 2951736 sources tell me that this engine is a 440-4 from 1970.

3. Here is when it gets confusing, My Stamping on my top front of the engine is E 440 underneath that is 39596 and underneath that is 12 10 P2, sources tell me that the ”E” next to 440 means that the car is a 1969 not 70, also I notice that blue is not the original color on this block, in 1970 all the 440s were painted blue except the HP police which is orange, so I decided to take matters into my own hands (bad idea) I scraped a small portion of paint underneath my block and it went from blue to orange to metal, this block was originally orange? See, I told you this is confusing, hope you guys can shed some light into this matter, I gave up and I am happy, is like if you were an orphan and wanted to search for your birth parents, even though you never needed them you were always curious were you came from and that my engine “an orphan”
