1974 roadrunner

Post by Blayze_1974 » Sun Jul 15, 2007 2:50 pm

my dad bought me a 1974 roadrunner (clone). We have looked around to for someone to put the stripe on the side but we have not found anyone. How hard is it to put this stripe on the car.

i was looking for a 72 on ebay but i came across a 74 roadrunner(clone) we ended up gettin it for 2600.00 dollars it didnt have any rust just a few dents and a crappy paint job. We did all the body work and painted it. It turned out good. all we need now is the stripe put on but we have not found any one to do it yet.

Where are you in Ohio? It's not that difficult, but if you want someone to do it, I know a couple of guys in the Columbus area....

we tried to do the one on the hood and got air bubbles in it so we dont want to try to do the ones on the side because i dont want bubbles in it.
I am about 45 minutes south of Canton.

we looked at tires today and figured out the size we wanted. We also finaly got to see how it really ran when we took it on the highway at dark. The motor ran better than we all thought for a 318.We think that it has been bored out but we dont know. After a couple trips and mashing on it the tranny started to slip pretty bad.when we bought it the guy said it did. So tomorrow we are taking out the tranny and if we have time putting the stripe on the side

I put the stripes on my car. With 1 or 2 helpers, it's not hard to do.I had only one area with bubbles around the passenger side mirror.
I got the kit from Pheonix. If you have a graffics shop in tour area, they would probably install them if you don't want to try it yourself.
