Weight of 72 RR

Post by Von » Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:37 pm

Wondering what you are getting as far as weight goes for your 72s. I weighed mine some time ago and it weighed 3850( w/me). BB car (headers, aluminum intake), AG hood(missing everything under the hood though), PS, manual brakes, automatic, no AC, Weld wheels, etc.

Just wondering how that compares to others weights.

Thanks

That would make it the lightest '71-'72 b-body I've heard of. I've always heard numbers in the 3700- to 3800-lb range for STOCK (not lightened for racing) cars.

I'll double check, it is on the title (shipping weight). It is kinda light. it is an RL21G. NO options except a/c and a am radio. its just a parts car, if it was driveable, I'd take it to the scales.
