Has anyone ever heard rumors of an aftermarket grille for a 72 RR?

Never heard of that rumor .... I would doubt it since there are so few 72 RR's out there and it being a 1 year only grill.

I see where Mopar is making what they call "Authentic Restoration Parts". I called the local dealer and the parts manager told me they have a catalog similar to the Mopar performance parts but for restoration parts. I haven't gotten out there to pick up one so can't speak to how extensive it is. His take was since it is a new program if the demand is there they will probably offer more and more things.

I agree that since the '72 grille is unique there might not be a big demand, but on the other side of the coin since it is so rare and not available elsewhere the demand might be enough to make it profitable to reproduce them.

Time will tell.
