Yeah! or at the very least she will get to see it again. She also said she had the vinyl top redone. I asked her if she had shortened it. She then said its suppose to be like that, its a canopy top. I told her I always thought the canopy tops stopped where the pillar started at the edge of the window?

like so:

On my car the vinyl top stopped in the middle of the roof where the two side windows meet.

Just so everyone knows I deleted some offensive posts on this thread and banned the offending user. Not sure why some folks can't abide by momma's WONDERFUL advice: "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." But the offending posts went beyond even that.

FWIW, you won't see us arbitrarily deleting users and threads at will here on the Nest. It just doesn't happen very often here... We seem to have one of the friendlier and more hospitable Mopar sites out there and would like keep it that way. Thanks for your help everyone! Now let's get back to wrenching on our Road Runners!

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well

Sadly for years my satellite has been on the back burner

In 2013 my dog was getting sick,at the time I had my grandfathers 1988 bronco ii. Reversed it up to my house, went to get a towel to help my dog into the back and a fire started in the engine bay. Tried putting it out,no use, It went up quick and it was parked 3 feet from my houses propane tank so while it was on fire I jumped in,put it in nuetral than pushed it away from the house. It got stopped by a hammock and burned up.

Now I loved this vehicle,it was my grandfathers baby and it was handed down to be mine. So when it burned up It hurt..I decided that night that I wasnt done with it. Even sprayed clearcoat so it wouldnt rust.

My dog got better and the next few months I took apart the bronco and coverd the cab up for a future project.

Fast forward 2016..January my dog had to be put down, she was 16, then a week later my grandfather passed away.

I remember coming home from my grandfathers funeral sad, angry but also motivated more than ever. Thats when I started building something out of what was left of my bronco. Over the years this is what I have been doing guys..

Its powered by a dodge 400 big block(the one i almost put in my satellite) :) I did alot of work and it still isnt done,if anyone is interested I can create a post about it telling more about the story. I even used most of my first car(79 lebaron) to make this happen.

Oh and i have plans for my car,its dusty but soon i will be working on it. :)
