Lot of time and $$$ in that one, but why in the WORLD would you get rid of one of the '71's coolest features--the marker lights?!

I completely agree with you on the marker lights, Bruce! They are an original, cool design and they help disguise the front overhang.

That said, I really like the clean body. No decals or graphics. Just pure fuselage at its absolute best:-)

I agree, he should of left the markert lights. I also see he is using a 72 RR emblem in the front but says GTX on the back. Nice car but alot of hodge podge done to it....I would put money on it that its not a GTX or RR...Satillite is my guess....

All a matter of personal taste. I think the side marker lights look way better on the '71 Road Runner. Then the ugly (to me) ones they put on the '71 Chargers. But I like the smooth look of no side marker lights. Or the custom look when you use the round side marker lights off of a '68 Charger.

Gionni, Your car sets the standard for all other ProTouring 71/72 B bodies.
Both nice cars either way.

Just got Auto Enthusiast with a nice feature on a 72 and 71 project Road Runners.

I like yellow but, call me crazy, I do not like that car. For some reason it looks cheap. Maybe its because the exterior is so stripped it looks incomplete or the trunk lid hanging over the rear bumper, I dunno.

Thanx...

My RR and this one are very different. But i like the yellow one too. Not in all details, but i find there is a lot of work and many details are cool.

I work now since over one year on my RR...this is the 4. and last phase of my complete project. A few actually mods on my RR are similar to the yellow one...so the cleaned and painted bumpers, or the complete cleaned engine bay with hidden electric. but the biggest update is in the technic... new stroker-engine, keisler 4-speed-automatic, 14" 6-piston brakes, new rear suspension setup...

in a few months it´s completed!!

North I totally agree with you.It reminds me of a knock off hot wheels car,I say hotwheels because to me theres something fake and exaggerated about it.

Well thats good. I felt like a d**k typing a negative comment about someone's pride and joy. Since, I believe, it wasn't a member's car, fair game, like the red head, blonde, brunette debate :D

That trunk spoiler is the worst :haha: :stirpot:

I've still got to get pictures of my car up for everyone to tear apart

Hey now I do have my opinions on It but I certainly dont want them being labeled as d!ck comments. Would I own it?for sure!Would i pay for It?no.lol Does it matter?Nope.

Though it doesn't dance for my eyes I acknowledge the work that's done.

Its just....I could see it in a fast n furious movie. :o
