To ALL: Im also looking for a nice rear gear ratio for a standard 8 3/4 rear end. Right now Im runnin' 2.77's (highway gears) I want something lower like 3.27's or 3.55's to take off the line faster but not hurt my mpg by more than 2gallons.

Too bad you don't live closer as I have a 1972 Roadrunner complete grill with all the script chrome emblems, mesh backing included.Everything
When I purchased my 72 SSP the extra Road Runner Grill was in the trunk as the guy was going to clone the SSP into a Roadrunner but luckily I got it an kept it original. Well except for the massive 440 I installed for fun :)

Congrats on the 72. It's good to see that some young people still have interest in real cars instead of rice burners.

I can see why your surprized. Only 3 of my high school friends have anything close to american muscle cars. Its a shame how Euro-cars are taking over :?

Nice ride and welcome. When I was in school, I was the only kid with a muscle car. A couple of the other guys were permitted to drive their dad's cars from time to time and we would cruise together on weekends but that was about it. Once April hit each year, we put full coverage on it so I could drive it for the next 6 months on an almost daily basis. I miss those days. Enjoy it!

I am thrilled that some young guns are interested in these cars....Very rare nowadays most young guns are more interested in a I-pad certainly not a vintage car. Don't get me wrong lots of young guns stop and look at these cars but thats where it usually ends.
My brother got me addicted to mopar 30 years ago and since then this sick wicked disease has spread throughout my body just can't seem to shake it...
