Time to dig out my one vinyl Sabbath with Dio and Solo Dio albums and dust off the turn table.

Re: Ronnie James Dio Dead at age 67
Damn shame for sure. Liked him both in Sabbath and Rainbow as well as solo.

Re: Ronnie James Dio Dead at age 67
I just saw this. I guess it's old news now. I was real bummed and shocked when it happened.
I have a real association between Dio and my first car, a MINT 72 Satellite. It was 82 or 83 and Dio hit it big with Holy Diver. I was obsessed with that album. I didn't have money for a cassete player so I drove around with my ghetto blaster cranking out from the passenger side seat. When you saw my car rolling down the road that was the soundtrack!
Ha-ha things haven't changed though. My 71 and 72 RRs only have AM radios still!!
BTW-he was also great in Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple.

"Did I just buy another car?!?"
