I got a call a couple of weeks ago from an individual in Australia. Seems he found my name on a receipt that that was in a file for a car he had just purchased.
Anyway, I filled him in as best I could on the history of the car. The dealer and/or previous owner had neglected to pass on the history that I had assembled. Unfortunately, I lost most of what I had when my old computer crashed. I was able to get him a previous owner’s name though so that he can re-establish the history himself if he wants to do so.
At the time, the car was sailing across the ocean, but it has now arrived in Australia.
As I stated previously, I don’t regret having sold it, but it is one I wouldn’t mind having back.
Guess it’s safe to say we won’t have to worry about that anymore.
On a side note, I no longer have the 72 Cuda project. Traded it for a running 70 Challenger R/T clone which I'm really enjoying. Still like to find that perfect 71/72 RR or GTX though.
