Microfiche Anyone?

Post by Elvad » Wed Aug 26, 2009 12:09 am

I purchased microfilm from 1966 to 1986 Chrysler cars, trucks, AMC, Renault, Eagle. An entire dealerships parts department 30 year collection a few years back. Some is in tough shape, but still shows stuff like sticker placement on 69 Daytonas etc.and alot of other fun stuff(I) you have never seen before, ever. I am taking requests and ideas as to how to transfer from microfish to newer format. I have probably 10 pounds of microfilm (no BS like three shoeboxes), 66 to 85+ cars, trucks, AMC, Eagle, All parts/body stuff, no service manuals. Any and all Ideas considered. Elvad (P.S. I saw stripe packages for 71-74 B-Body cars in these catalogs I have never seen before) write back...

That's very very cool and you know you could probably make some decent money on that information if you invest in the conversion, then organize and put on a CD to sell

here's a search string you can use to find conversion services:

No idea how to convert to a modern format, but that sounds like a great resource!

I'm sure converting it is like converting 35mm slides and negatives. My dad had to convert a bunch of 35mm slides and that can be done with most modern scanners. The one he bought had a built in attachment for it.
