Thanks to many

Post by NCbluebird » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:21 pm

Today I awoke to the cell phone ringing and letting me know the transporter was on the way. Delivering my 71 RoadRunner clone I found. This was a great day. The car was even better than presented in the listing and via the pictures and phone conversation details, I am very pleased.

I want to thank many of you on this board for your advice, help, inspiration and ideas, I found a great place to hang out and feed my obesssion. So special thanks to Bruce and Dave, it's no wonder they are the admins, they have been super helpful!!

Thanks guys!!

I beg to differ Bruce! Your observations on the pictures of the Green RR and cross-posted supports on Moparts, as well as prompting fellow RR obesssors to fess up about potential for sale candidates..... All those made me smarter and make a better choice, I call that a lot of Help!

Thanks

You're welcome. I'm always glad to help spread the disease...

BTW, Dave and I started this website (much more Dave than I), so that's why we're the admins--no one else (besides Eric) would HAVE the job! :D

So when you getting up to the Graham area? And when is the Auto Fair again?

Charlotte Auto-Fair is Sept 10-13 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, soon to be renamed Charlotte Motor Speedway again. I've been to Carlisle and it's fairly similar in size. last year there were over 1500 cars for sale just in the car corral, which is the entire circle track. Who knows how many of the 5000 plus other cars around the inside of the track were for sale. Many clubs and groups are there and tons of acreage of flea market in and out of the track as well.

Congrats on the cool ride, not to mention the awesome plate you secured for it! I'm sure you are going to have a lot of fun with that one!
