New to the Site

Post by 74-440RUNNER » Mon Jul 06, 2009 10:37 pm

Hello all! I just recently purchased a 74 Satellite/ Roadrunner clone. It has a 440 in it, I will be bringing it to my local dragstrip for some baseline runs to see what she will do.

I have been in the Autobody/Restoration field for about 21 years. I have restored everything from 50's cars to modern day cars.

I'm a Mopar guy and always will be. I enjoy Drag Racing, Car Shows, and going up North to the lake house for some relaxation.

Just checking in to say Hello

Welcome!
Sounds like fun at the Lake House.
Let us know how she runs at the track.

Where are you located?

+1 on the "new here"!!

I'm steve, out of the atlanta area. I just purchased my dream car, a 1971 GTX. It's 90% disassembled right now. 440-4 car, Tawny Gold, Gold Top.

I'm here to learn, and probably will have a million questions as I embark on this journey.

If the timeline holds, I'll hopefully have the car in paint by christmas.

Steve, you must be the guy Nick told me about, wondering if you happen to have bought a tawny GTX I used to own. Got any pics of it? When I had it the car was complete and ran--although I had to replace a couple of lifters and bent pushrods to get it to run well... Welcome to you as well!
