mopars unlimited/mopars on review

Post by landon1 » Fri Jun 05, 2009 11:15 pm

it's that time of year again, but i didn't forget the date this time  taking lil brice and maybe my brother - should be getting quite a few really good pics, since this is "THE" mopar show in the midwest...

this afternoon i saw a '68 turquoise bird being trailered - most likely for the show.

Goodguys Heartland Nationals will be on July 4th, which is mainly a hot rod show, but there were a few mopars last year.

On a side-note, i saw a 72 SSP in red at a trans shop the other day...no pics though

got some pics - didn't get as many as i hoped lol - it's amazing how few pictures you take when you have a 1 year old

got some videos as well - most cars were of the "modified" class. there was an original 66 Hemi Satellite as well as an original 70 Hemi Charger RT and a 69.5 six-pack Superbee, and of course, an original 6bbl Superbird - trailered, of course - don't think they even started it to get it into its spot - battery disconnected. My neighbor was there with his 70 440 Charger with gator grain vinyl top. The 71 GTX was amazing - incredibly nice car. pretty nice show - not as big as i had hoped, but it was raining pretty bad til about 11am, cars started showing around 12 i believe.
