different look for gauges

Post by landon1 » Thu Mar 19, 2009 7:25 pm

i've been thinking about gauges for a long time and i think that if i could ideally get the cuda vintage air system to work (or run a generic system), this would be a great layout for the instrument cluster...doesn't seem like it would be too bad of a project to fabricate - expensive part would be the gauges...the posibilities are endless, you could make a textured finish, do woodgrain, carbon fiber, aluminum, etc.

quick lil sketch for you guys

I've got no doubt you can do it. The PT Cruiser I've talked about used vintage Challenger guages in the factory pod, with some re-wiring.

What you've shown there is different, and should look good, I'd say go for it
