Landon1 - I was looking at your pics and it appears you installed the mufflers with the inlet to the center connection of the muffler and the outlet to the side connection. I thought it was the opposite. I know my current mufflers are side inlet and center outlet. Several muffler shops also told me to buy the side inlet and center outlet. It's supposed to make the installation easlier and provide more clearance.

Re: weekend plans (more progress)
it kind of forced the mufflers closer to the middle under the driveshaft, but personally, i like how i laid them out, as the pipes exit perfectly under the back up light section in the taillight...just like nice, orderly lines

landon1: I was reading the other thread about participation and then noticed that your car is Intense blue!! Can you post a picture of the car? I painted my 73 Satellite Sebring Plus this color with the 71 strobe stripe/

Re: weekend plans (more progress)
Thanks!! 20 year project! Started as a 73 Sebring Plus with 318/904 2.71 8.25 rear.
Now 340/727 3.55 8.75 sg. Added Firm Feel P/S Box, front and rear sway bars, removed the rubber isolators basically converted to a Road Runner, improving on the original design and keeping it simple.
Always wanted a 71 but could never find the one. I had a 72 Road runner, 400 3 speed stick, but that's a sad story in itself.
This is what it used to look like:

indeed...here's a couple
mine looks a lil lighter than yours, but it has a lot more pearl than was in the mix, so when it was in better shape, it would have highlights of purple and green in the paint.
