It's easy to install and use for most work, but not to dual boot or run XP in shell. Also, I found it really irritating to install packages for basic add-on stuff like streaming flash content. However, it's true that Linux is practucally impervious to spyware and viruses.
I just can't replace XP for all the games and Photoshop, Premiere, etc.

Its doesnt matter what you use.A computer can still have mechanical failures and flaws.Just maintain it and hope it was built properly!

Re: Computer help
So far so good. I like this computer I have now. It sure is faster than my old one.
I will be backing up files every so often.
