Betcha haven't seen this before

Post by Eric » Fri Oct 10, 2008 8:41 pm

From a post over on moparts....yes it's for a 71 Dodge, but I've never seen the headlight wash option before, and especially in combination with an air grabber and rear defrost!

Nope, never seen all 3 - but a very cool picture. Is it original?

You can't really see the wipers that much. They are used on concealed headlights. They are not actually wipers they are brushes. They also have a separate washer bottle.

that is cool!!, i never knew they had this in 71, its gotta be or close to the first application for wipers on lights, unless the germans did it in like 53 or something?.never knew we were so lazy back then>>>>>......you know its bad when you have to have wipers on headlights, i have seen these on luxury cars but never on a mopar muscle car..great posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chryslers had the same system, I'm guessing that any mopar with concealed head lamps had this option.
