well then i guess there is no telling if mine is original or not . im going to contact the original owner and ask him if he remebers anything aboot it .

are they really that rare ?

Im not really sure.If you cant find that many pics or info about the option,id say it would be a hard to find car.

well it turns out the power antenna option just became more rare :(

i just got this Email back from the original owner of the runner :
sorry, it didn't come w/ a power antenna. i added it after the factory one got damaged and discovered that a replacement from the local Plymouth parts dept. would have cost a small fortune.

i don't remember where i bought the power antenna, but it was a nice unit that retracted safely out of harms way to protect it from car washes and vandals. is the radio not working? it's supposed to extend any time you turn the radio on.

oh well, i'd keep a power antenna and may have to switch to it...to me antennae are kind of like license plates - usually the ugliest item on a car
