The description kind of sounds like it was written by a Nigerian scam artist. "Mr. Rooke had a very professional and illustrious life"...What?!

nice car! ....but for all the time he spent describing the original owner, he could have spent a little describing the condition of the car!!!

Reminds me of AZNicks car. I agree, he spent a great deal of time decribing the owner, I'm surprised he didn't include a photo from the cemetery. I could see the headstone now " Mr Rooke loved his 1971 Roadrunner...oh, and his wife too"

Nice car but........ I smell a scam on this one.... The owner bought it when he was in his 80's and died at 103, that could be 23 years total. Add 23 to 71 and you get 1994, where has this car been sitting since then, in the funeral home waiting for a buyer to come along??????
No way...... The seller for got to mention that the family dog died at the age of 103 too......

I see the car is not for sale by "gtomom". Now its for sale from someone calling themselves "dfwclassics". It went from Guthrie, OK to Sringtown, TX. Now they added that it was owned by Richard Pettys' cousin and it is a 10,100 Mile survivor.

Any time a car like that is listed with no reserve, it's a scam.
