GTX sold

Post by 471Magnum » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:44 pm

The sale of the GY3 GTX is pending. I hate to see it go, but it is for the best. Financial priorities dictated it.

It will remain in my possession for a little while yet as some shipping details get sorted out.

I've already begun the hunt for my next Mopar. I definitely plan to "downsize" significantly. The next one will definitely be driver quality, at least that's where the budget it set.

I've already got a few possibilities, ranging from a '69 Barracuda 383, to a 2007 Indiana Highway Patrol Hemi Charger salvage project.

I keep coming back to '71-'72 Plymouth intermediates though. I've been eyeballing a couple.

No. It IS sold (hence the subject line).

Carriers are pretty much booked up right now due to the auction season, so it will remain in my garage for now.

That car has been anything but a good friend to me. :P

What is it that mom used to say? "Don't fall for the pretty ones because they'll only break your heart."

That car is one beautiful, but cold-hearted bitch.

While I think I had turned the corner with it and gotten past the big issues, I'll be happier once it's gone.

On a lighter note, I'm going to go look at a potential replacement this weekend. I'll post more details in another thread.

Guess we will never know what the new wheels were going to look like then. :P Good luck with your choice on the next Mopar.
