Re: 71B Heater/defrost cable
Was working on my 71 last night. Does the plastic covered part of the cable just lay into the clip, like in circle w from the diagram, or do I need to pinch it with pliers or something?

Re: Where do you buy your headliner?
I havn't purchased by new headliner yet but I did put in one years ago in my old 67 cuda which I got from The Paddock. The unit was fantastic. I believe they were bought out by Classic Industries. I just recently got one of their catalogs and have noticed that they do specify both 6 and 4 bow units....

I know you wanted a picture of a fender tag. Here is a GTX on ebay with a fender tag pic.

Re: 15/16/17" ?
Hi! I am actually running 14"x 5.5" in the front and have 15"x 7" on the back. I think it has a classic stance this way. Unfortuneately, I don't have any pics at this time.

Re: 1972 Plymouth RR --> HEATER NOT WORKING
I suggest that you inventest in a set of service manuals, especially since your are doing wiring work. Here is a recent re-print I just found on E-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-Plymouth-Shop-Manual-GTX-Satellite-Road-Runner-Sebring-Roadrunner-Service-/160858164697?hash=item2573e4cdd9&item=160858...

I believe Wheel Vintiques was recently bought out by Coker Tire!?DixieSatellite wrote:
There are lots of suppliers of Magnum 500s. I got mine about 6 years ago from Wheel Vintiques (IIRC).
Good luck.

Re: Help With My "New" 71 GTX
I think there a few of us with the same situation. My 71 rr was completely torn apart except for the body and drivetrain when I purchased it. No fender tag, no broadcast sheet, wiring harnesses in a box, parts just thrown into the car and trunk, etc. All I know about my car is that it is a real RM23...

Re: 1972 Plymouth RR --> HEATER NOT WORKING
Do you have a diagram showing wire colors going to the gauges? The colors of the wires are written on the back of the dash by the terminals. If you want to PM me with your e-mail address, I can scan and send you the wire schematic from my 71 manual. It is the same for all years. Just let me know if...

Re: 1972 Plymouth RR --> HEATER NOT WORKING
No, it shouldn't hurt anything to drop the steering wheel down some. Just remove the top and side firewall bolts, 1/2 ", and then remove the nuts and round cup washers in the picture you took, the ones with the bolts going through the plastic insulators, 7/76" deep drive. and just lower it down. Thi...

I agree, the cars in the two videos don't have the same rear bumper.

Re: Wiper arms will not return to park position when turned

Possible cause: A) Motor park switch failure in the open position. B) Open parking circuit or open field circuit. Correction: A) Repl...

Re: 1972 Plymouth RR --> HEATER NOT WORKING
I would start my taking a multi meter and checking various points for voltage. At the harness, at the switch, etc. See where the problem is before you start looking for replacement parts.
