Re: What's your color?

My '71 GTX is a factory GW3 car. In fact, at the end of the month, it is heading off for a total repaint! At this moment, it is satin black, so, the pics would be worthless...

Re: The 71-74 Plymouth Satellite/Road Runner/GTX picture thr

Here is my new '71 GTX project. Right now, it look like something straight out of a Fast and the Furious movie!

Re: there still out there - another nice GTX

Wow Nick, cool find! I wonder if that '70 model go-wing is the original? I know lots of the early built '71's got the '70 wing, but that cars build date is in Feb.'71... Out of the 2,942 '71 GTX's made, only 184 came with the A45 front/rear spoiler package, and considering I own one and have seen 10...

Re: bumper jack assembly resto

If you want to do it concours correct, it is not too hard. I removed the mechanism from the mast, sent the mast to a plater in OH (Eric Manuel @ 3404@oh.rr.com) who charges $25.00 to correctly replate in yellow zinc, then glass bead the mechanism and base, then spray it with the only truely correct ...

Re: How much is this worth?

The undercarriage actually looks rock solid in the pics, with maybe some rot in the left front floor pan. I happen to like benchs better than buckets since to me at least, that's what the original RR theme was all about :D As far as no fender tag and broadcast sheet pics, he wants me to call him fir...

Re: Let's critique this car: 71 EV2 N96 383 4SPD

Assuming the the car was clean and wreck free before the resto, I think $25k is a reasonable price... A clean '71 Satellite will fetch $3k or more and by the time you get the car to look like the one mentioned, you will easily have $25k plus into it, doing most of the work yourself! Not too mention,...

How much is this worth?

I really happen to like this RR, I know it's a down market and this car has plenty wrong with it, but, it is a running and driving N96 bench 4-spd car in GY3!

Welcome  I have owned a few early to December '71 B&E bodies, and they all had the '70 style console as well.
Do you have any pics of your X?

Re: #'s 440 to a '71 Plymouth here?

Nope, the 440+6 engine also used a cam that used 3 bolts that retained the timing gear. I posted what the guy said about it supposedly coming out of a V-code car. Without matching up the sequence # to a known car, we will never know for sure what it originally came out of. One thing for certain thou...

Re: Fresh sheetmetal work on 72 RR

Ahhh, you type fast :D The FY1 RR I sold two years ago was the same way, it took a frontend shot back in the '70's and the shop installed a new support. Good move on the size upgrade
