I don't believe Goodmark was making their own stuff, just re-selling the overseas stuff.
AMD does make their own panels...I've seen a few sets in person at the shows, and they are VERY nice quality.

Re: 3 point shoulder Seatbelt
okay, so I'm not nuts, the '74 did have true 3-point belts?
Anyone ever swap the '74 belts into a 71/72?

Re: 74 Roadrunner windshield
I'm pretty sure all '71-up windshields are glue in...the weatherstrip was used in the late 60's B-bodies (among others).

Re: Gas tank
Quanta is the other maker of aftermarket tanks...they've been making them longer than the others, but I haven't either (yet) so I can't speak to the quality. I also need a late '72 tank and will likely go with the Spectra unit based solely on price. Quanta carries the same part number as spectra ( ...

Re: Gas tank
I've never tried a sealer...it may work as a temporary fix.
You tank is the '71 (until April of '72) version, aka- early version. I've seen new tanks (I need to buy one too) from about $175 to $230...just make sure that you get the one that says '4 side vents'.

That's great!
I wanted to try and get a chance to talk to them at Carlisle but they were pretty busy with a group of people already...love their work, just incredible.

I have never seen one being repo'd...I DID see a complete 71/72 roof with a factory sunroof for sale at Carlisle last week. I don't know if the guy ever sold it though.

Re: Gathering Parts Steps
I have been collecting cars and parts for the last 11 years. There was no real rhyme or reason behind it, but just picked up whatever I could find and thought would be usable. Mainly because I had no idea when I would be able to have the resources to actually start my project. In a logical process, ...

Re: Map light lenses and assemblies
Yep! We've just approved the texturing on the part, but it needs to be applied to the recessed ramp that approaches the lens still. After that, we should be good to go. I'm hoping we're two months out now. I'll have some samples at the nats if anyone's interested in checking them out. I need to pul...

Re: 73-74 rear quarter panels for Roadrunners
never mind.I kept checking and they are there now. I'm looking at their site too, but don't see them on either of the 2 pages they have for 71-74 Plymouth. Are they on a different page? Also, that part number doesn't show up....is that AMD's part number? Nevermind, that is AMD's number. I fo...

Re: 72 Satellite production figures
Plenty of '72s were made....but a SSP with a 400 has to be pretty rare, as I would assume most people that opted for the 400 engine, would just get the RR package, or opt up for the GTX which is basically the same car, but with the 440.

Re: 73-74 rear quarter panels for Roadrunners
I got to see the 71/72 quarters that AMD has while ar Carlisle...as well as their 'full car' display...the product that AMD is putting out is unreal. I had a friend with me who has been restoring cars for over 20 years, and he said he has yet to see a panel produced that comes close to how nice thei...
