Right, I got mine from SUPERCAR1.com a few weeks ago. The antenna is absolutely ridiculous on them as well!! Still good to see them producing our cars though.

Exactly, that dude, I believe Barry White is his name, is a total tool and a bit of an arse, as well. He's been on a few other shows on TLC. He always rubs me the wrong way. Their lack of knowledge, "GTX's all came with Hemi's", is a bit sad. And that ford rear??!!I thought it was weird that they sa...

wreck to riches

hello everyone, Did you see the road runner/satellite/gtx on the new tv show wrecks to riches on TLC? I believe it was a '71, painted plum crazy with 426 crate motor and electronic tranny. Awesome!!! I wasn't too crazy about the front fender/hood stripe though. They actioned it off for $75,000.00 in...

painting my bird

Hello all, It's my understanding that painting metallics is very difficult for a novice painter. As my bird was originally gold leaf metallic (GY8), should I just use a different color. I was thinking maybe sassy-grass green. If I do use GY8, should I use base coat/clear coat or single stage?? :help...

'71 quarters

Hello, just got an email from "Dave Layson". He stated that they were having an issue with producing the rear valances for the '67-69 cuda and as soon as they are done, the '71 road runner quarters will begin production. He states that they are still planning on a release date of June '06... ...

Hello all,

Just thought you guys would like to know, I spoke with Layson's Restoration a couple of weeks ago and they assured me that their quarter patch panels would be available in February (at latest March) of '06

bone yard in Maine

Hello Dave,

Is there any way you can tell me where that bone yard in Maine that you mentioned in previous topic is or give me directions. I live in Massachusetts (sorry to say).

mopar nats

I too attended the nats this past weekend. The heat was unbearable. I had to leave the show a little early because I thought my kid was going to melt!! Tons of road runners though!! Kind of weird to pass an orange hemi superbird on the highway!!!
